Second Round Matching Procedure

Students should check the D & D Digital website at or after 11:00 a.m. CST, Thursday, April 6, to confirm if the Combined Appalachian State University Dietetic Internship and Master in Nutrition Program is open for second-round applications. If positions remain after the first round, the following procedure will be followed:

1. Applicants must apply for second round matching through DICAS starting the Thursday after Match Day (April 6, 2017), after 11:00 a.m. Central Time.
2. A prior application already on file in DICAS may be used. Please contact DICAS to submit the application to the Appalachian State University Dietetic Internship. 
3. Applicants who applied to the Appalachian State University Dietetic Internship by the February 15 deadline should not reapply.
4. Applications will be considered in the order received.
5. Identical criteria used for the first round match will be used to evaluate second round match applications.
6. If the DI Director is able to offer a position, the Program Director will contact you by email or phone, beginning at 11 am CDT on Thursday, April 6, at the primary email address and/or the primary phone number specified on your DICAS application. 
7. Positions will be filled in the order that acceptances are received.
8. No notification will be sent to applicants who are not offered a position.
